About Us
I began practicing real estate with O'Brien Realty in 2020, and transitioned into doing the work full time at the end of the 2022 school year. Before real estate, I worked as a classroom English teacher at Huntingtown High School from 2011-2014 and Great Mills High School from 2014-2022. In my time as a teacher I coached cross country and outdoor track, sponsored and facilitated the GMHS chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and worked extensively with our school's English Learner population.
I love coaching and teaching, and I now use these skills to serve my clients well. I am committed to you understanding the ins-and-outs of the many decisions you will navigate. I use clear, responsive communication to help you learn the financial, structural, and technical implications of buying or selling a home.
My past clients will tell you that some of my most valuable qualities are responsiveness, kindness, patience, awareness of clients' needs, and generosity. Call, text, or email me to set up a consultation! I would love to get to know you and have the chance to serve you well.
Buying or selling a home can be very exciting but it also can be a daunting and overwhelming process with unfamiliar, technical terms and confusing next steps. It will also most likely be your largest single financial investment. You want to make the right, responsible decisions, but it’s hard to always know what those are.
My goal is to make this process less intimidating by educating you on the process of buying or selling a home, helping you navigate through the choices and paperwork, and checking in often to answer questions and share updates. If you choose to work with me, I will be readily available as your advocate, your agent, and your ally.
The Morris Family
Lauren and Danny met at St. Mary's College of Maryland and graduated with English degrees. Danny has taught English to high school students in SOMD for the past 11 years. Since college, Lauren has spent time serving the homeless population of St. Mary's County, working in youth ministry, and parenting alongside Danny to raise our three kids.
We have called St. Mary's County home for 18 years and have loved living in a water-focused community. People are friendly, welcoming, and ready for adventure.
